KUDL, for many, is more than a radio station, it is family.The KUDL family is something very unique and special. Unlike other stations (That make claims that they care) the DJ's take a personal interest in the listeners and it shows! As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words!
That is not the only reason, it's also because the people identify not only with KUDL and the "On-Air personalities" but other listeners as well. There are many times that we as a family have gotten together for a good cause and gotten things done. When there are people in need, we do all we can to meet if not exceed the supply to meet it.
The genuine care and concern for others makes it family. I honestly believe that if we were to try, we (The KUDL Family) could accomplish ANYTHING!!
Many radio stations (including some in Kansas City) wish that they could, and are trying to, copy what has happened at KUDL. If it were possible, if it could be contained and explained by demographics, or surveys it would already be happening; if only it were that simple. Then again there wouldn't be the uniqueness that there is. Most people are caring and compassionate at heart but it seems that we as a family are less afraid to show that and to put it to action.
When this page originally started, there was no KUDL web site. It was my belief that there was a need for one that is why I created "The Unofficial KUDL Page" My reasons for continuing to have a site dedicated to KUDL have changed. I want to offer things that aren't available on the KUDL page.
The name change from "The Unofficial KUDL Page" to "KUDLfan's KUDL Family Page" came because the direction of the page changed.In the coming months, I see potential for it to go in new, different and better directions. Although I have been the one to create and maintain this page it has never been MY page. It has, and always will remain to be what you want. I rely on suggestions and contributions from everyone to make this page more useful.
